empowerHER UK is a charity with a simple mission – to empower, support, and connect girls and young women through age 24 who have experienced the loss of their mothers. empowerHER UK serves girls in a non-therapeutic, community-based, and volunteer-driven model throughout the United Kingdom. All programs are free of charge to the family and rooted in a deep understanding of just how it feels for a girl to lose her mother.

empowerHER UK aims to lift up the girl—to nurture and guide her—to give her hope, strength, and self-confidence, and help teach that loss is survivable. Today, empowerHER UK is the first stop on empowerHER’s International Expansion, achieving a vision of a world where any girl who has experienced the loss of their mother be provided with a supportive community, positive role model, and peer support.
